#BlackWidow is an infectious delight. I don't know which star shines brighter, Rita Ora or Iggy Azalea, but both work perfectly together to make it the song of the summer. Listen to it on the biggest screen possible.— Alex Zalben (@azalben) June 17, 2021
Black Widow is one of Marvel’s best solo movies. From start to finish the movie is great. Excellent surprises great emotional moments for the characters fantastic action scenes and Scarlett Johansson finally manages to put everything into the role. Director Cate Shortland is also very good. Good job, everyone.
Black Widow shows exactly why Natascha was the glue that held the Avengers together. There are shades of John Wick in the fight scenes and very inventive action scenes packed into a heartfelt and meaningful story about family and how the world treats girls. I can’t wait to see how Yelena will carry the torch forward. Yelena will be the new fan favorite after Black Widow. Florence Pugh is extraordinary. She and Scarlett are phenomenal together as two sisters used and abused by a system they have to tear apart.
I loved Black Widow… And it pisses me off. Scarlett deserved this movie long ago. I’ve loved everyone, but it really annoys me that Marvel has waited so long. Scarlett is as extraordinary as ever. About Florence I loved everything I saw in her and she continues to do so. As well as David and Rachel. The story is dark and absolutely engaging. The action scenes * chef kiss * and it pisses me off that we had to wait until after Endgame. It’s really hard to separate the emotions from my thoughts on the film.
The thing that struck me the most is the action. There are several great action scenes that separate the film from the TV series that go with a lighter foot on the action by giving more space to the characters. I had missed the Marvel action. It’s a blast.
I really liked Black Widow. I was pretty worried about watching this movie and its unfolding knowing what would happen next in Endgame, which might lower expectations a little but that’s not the case. Indeed, it is the kind of prequel story that manages to give even more strength to the other films of the UCM. I really enjoyed many things, but what I liked most is the whole. Maybe it’s because I have a very close relationship with my sister and couldn’t really get enough of Natasha / Yelena. From bickering to the most emotional moments. It’s really my kind of movie about a dysfunctional family.
Black Widow, we remind you, will be released in American cinemas on 9 July and, at the same time, will also be available on Disney + with VIP access, as happened with Mulan e Raya and the last dragon. As for Italy, the film will hit theaters on July 7 and then on Disney + again with VIP access two days later.
In the film, when a dangerous plot comes to light, Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow is faced with the darker side of her past. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to destroy her, Natasha will have to deal with her spy past and the relationships she left behind long before becoming an Avenger.
The film stars Scarlett Johansson, who returns to play Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow (Black Widow), Florence Pugh as Yelena, David Harbor as Alexei / The Red Guardian and Rachel Weisz as Melina.
Directed by Cate Shortland and produced by Kevin Feige, the highly anticipated new film from Marvel Studios will arrive at theaters on July 7 and July 9 on Disney + with VIP Access.
