By beating Switzerland, Italy qualified for the round of 16 of the European Championships with one round to spare. Now to finish first in the group for the Azzurri it will be enough to draw Sunday afternoon against Wales at the Olimpico. If coach Roberto Mancini’s team closes as leaders, they will play on Saturday 26, at 9 pm, in London against the second classified in group C: the most likely opponents, at the moment, are the Netherlands, Austria and Ukraine. On the other hand, if he finished second, Italy would play the second round always on Saturday 26 June, but at 6 pm and above all in Amsterdam. He would face the second in group B, made up of Belgium, Russia, Finland and Denmark.
