Nyon sent a letter to the Juventus club: participation in next year’s cup is official. Meanwhile, President Ceferin participated in the work of the ECA
UEFA has admitted Juventus to the 2021-2022 edition of the Champions League. The Uefa letter sent to the club, and for information to the Football Federation, is dated June 14, as reported by Ansa from sources close to the Juventus club. Therefore, the admission has been made official after the suspension of the Uefa disciplinary proceedings against Juve, Barcelona and Real Madrid for the Super League affair. Suspension linked to the ongoing judicial process at the Court of Madrid and the EU Court of Justice.
Aleksander Ceferin was also present at the meeting of the ECA (the association of European clubs) in Munich, the first under the presidency of Nasser Al Khelaifi, replacing the resigning Andrea Agnelli.
The UEFA president said: “Thanks to our strong ties with the ECA, we will be able to modernize European football together”. For his part, PSG No. 1 explained: “Eca and Uefa go hand in hand, stronger than ever, with the common interest of promoting and protecting European football”.
