After the disastrous launch and the many refund requests, Sony had decided to remove Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store on PS4 and PlayStation 5. Despite the many patches and corrections in recent months, the CD Projekt RED game has never been reinstated and indeed, the two companies have always refused to comment on what happened. In these hours, however, several users have noticed that it is possible to add the game to the game again Wishlist of the PS Store. One thing that could mean that Cyberpunk 2077 could soon return to the digital stores of PlayStation 4 and PS5.
The game, in fact, has always been available on disc. Sony, however, has always refused to sell the game directly through its digital store, after record-breaking refunds demanded by users following the disastrous launch in December. A move that contributed to the failure (compared to initial forecasts) of the Polish game.
Now, however, things may soon change. On PS5, we have verified, you can find the game with a “just announced” date and the possibility of adding it to your Wishlist. That Sony and CD Projekt RED are preparing for the big announcement? Maybe in conjunction with the arrival of the native version for PlayStation 5 (and Xbox Series X | S)?
It is still early to say, but something is moving.
