There are 137 new infections from Covid-19 recorded today, June 14, in Emilia Romagna, out of a total of 8,111 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. This was announced by the Emilia Romagna Region, explaining that the percentage of new positives on the number of tampons made since yesterday is 1.7%. There was a death in Modena (a 68-year-old man). The number of healed is on the rise, 463 more than yesterday.

Meanwhile, the anti-Covid vaccination campaign continues, also extended to the under 40s. In Emilia-Romagna, in fact, reservations are open from today for 25-29 year olds (therefore those born between 1992 and 1996), after the launch, in recent days, of those for children between 12 and 19 years old and for 30-39 year olds with staggered windows. On Wednesday 16 June, the agendas for 20-24 year olds will open, with the possibility of booking which will always remain open from the date the windows are unlocked, to allow all those who wish to receive the vaccine.

The progressive count of vaccine administrations carried out can be followed in real time on the portal of the Emilia-Romagna Region dedicated to the topic:, which also indicates how many are the completed vaccination cycles. At 3 pm a total of 3,190,468 doses were administered; out of the total, 1,113,967 people have completed the vaccination cycle.

The control and prevention activity continues: of the newly infected, 63 are asymptomatic identified as part of the regional contact tracing and screening activities. Overall, among the new positives 56 were already in isolation at the time of swab execution, 75 were identified within already known foci. The average age of new positives today is 32.6 years.

Of the 63 asymptomatic, 43 were identified thanks to contact tracing, none through the tests for risk categories introduced by the Region, 7 with serological screenings, 5 through pre-hospitalization tests. The epidemiological investigation is still ongoing for 8 cases. The contagion situation in the provinces sees Piacenza with no new cases registered; Parma with 35 cases, followed by Cesena (21) and Bologna (18); then Modena (16), Rimini (15), then Ravenna (9), Forlì (7) and Reggio Emilia (6); finally, the Imolese district and Ferrara, both with 5 new cases.

In the last 24 hours, 4,571 molecular swabs were carried out, for a total of 4,879,723. To these are also added 3,540 quick swabs. As for the total number of people healed, they are 463 more than yesterday and reach 364,569. The active cases, that is the actual patients, to date are 8,018 (-327 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home, or those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, are a total of 7,665 (-330), 95.6% of the total number of active cases.

In total, there have been 13,234 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic. There are 62 patients admitted to intensive care (stable number compared to yesterday), 291 those in the other Covid departments (+3).

On the territory, patients admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: one in Piacenza (+1), 6 in Parma (-1), 6 in Reggio Emilia (number unchanged compared to yesterday), 12 in Modena (-1), 25 in Bologna (unchanged), 1 in Imola (unchanged), 2 in Ferrara (unchanged), 2 in Ravenna (+1), none in Forlì (like yesterday), 2 in Cesena (unchanged) and 5 in Rimini (unchanged).

These are the cases of positivity in the area since the beginning of the epidemic, which refer not to the province of residence, but to the one in which the diagnosis was made: 23,598 in Piacenza (stable number compared to yesterday), 28,402 in Parma (+ 35, of which 11 symptomatic), 46,863 in Reggio Emilia (+6, of which 6 symptomatic), 65,557 in Modena (+16, of which 10 symptomatic), 82,248 in Bologna (+18, of which 8 symptomatic), 12,632 cases in Imola (+5, of which 3 symptomatic), 23,151 in Ferrara (+5, of which 4 symptomatic), 30,469 in Ravenna (+9, of which 3 symptomatic), 17,051 in Forlì (+7, all symptomatic), 19,637 in Cesena (+21, of which 11 symptomatic) and 36,213 in Rimini (+15, of which 11 symptomatic).
