Thanks to the new cloud storage service called Vault, the dash cams, which attach via a suction cup, can automatically save recordings for 24 hours, with the possibility of extending the period up to 30 days. Voice controls, also available in Italian, allow the user to start / stop audio recording, upload videos, take static photos and more.

The other two big news are called Parking Guard e Live View: the first warns, via the official Garmin Drive smartphone app, if an accident has occurred near your parked car; the second allows you to view the video feed of the dash cam at any time. Finally, the dash cams also offer a sort of ADAS: Front Collision Warning or FCW and Lane Departure Warning or LDW warn the driver if the safety distance from the vehicle in front drops below a certain threshold and if the car is changing lanes.

The dash cams do not have mobile connectivity: for Vault, Parking Guard and Live View, therefore, they must be connected to a rete Wi-Fi, for example the hotspot of your vehicle. Another fundamental requirement is the connection to the power supply. By the way: a cigarette lighter power supply is supplied in the package. It offers two USB ports, thus allowing you to recharge another device, such as your smartphone, at the same time.

All the new Dash Cams are available for purchase on the official website and at the best retailers, physical and online.
