A great return to Collisioni, to celebrate the origins of the festival and look to the future with hope. After the cancellation of the world tour scheduled for July 2020 due to the pandemic, Patti Smith returns to the Collisioni stage on Saturday 10 July, at 9 pm in Piazza Medford in Alba, accompanied by her son Jackson Smith on guitar, by long-time friend Tony Shanahan on bass and by drummer Seb Rochford. Collisioni was missing from the great concert in July 2012, the first edition in Barolo, which gathered about 20 thousand people on that evening, starting the agrirock festival as we know it today.
The mayor of Alba Carlo Bo says: «We are proud to host this event which is a testimony of the desire to start again not only of our city, but of an entire territory. The great desire to return to normality is materializing in a responsible way and these moments are projecting our city more and more on the international scene at a high level “” continues the director of Collisioni Filippo Taricco: “It is a thrill to announce this concert that we it takes us back to the dawn of Collisioni, when we were young, and with a pinch of madness and recklessness we embarked on an adventure that was beyond our economic and organizational capabilities. That concert will remain in our hearts forever ».
