Not just 40 children and a disabled person. Among the people saved from the storm that hit Rome yesterday, there is also a pregnant woman in her eighth month of pregnancy. The agents of the Villa Glori police station in fact rescued her while she was blocked due to the increasingly high water level and the numerous debris present in the street.

A rescue that took place around 2 pm when a request for help arrived in the operations room because in Corso Francia, at the height of Via Flaminia, a woman was blocked, surrounded by rainwater which by now had reached knee height.

The agents, together with their colleagues from the 15th Ponte Milvio District, intervened immediately and reached the woman, reassuring her and making her safe. After making sure she was okay, they then took her home.
