Genoa – The conditions of the 34-year-old patient from Savona hospitalized yesterday at the San Martino polyclinic in Genoa, after feeling ill at work. From the first analyzes, a low level of platelets was found, but no thrombosis. During the night, however, the doctors discovered abdominal thrombi, for which the patient was subjected to fibrinolysis (a therapy to dissolve blood clots) and the surgery gave good results. Now the 34-year-old’s conditions are good, and the woman is breathing independently.
The woman reported that she had been vaccinated in Alassio on May 27 with the first dose of Astrazeneca. Currently, explains the Polyclinic in a note, she is hospitalized in intensive care and breathes independently.
She is still undergoing anticoagulation therapy. The situation of low blood platelets remains, and for this reason the patient will continue to be monitored in intensive care.
