ROME – The culture of Italian wine meets the city of Rome. In the frame of the Giardino delle Cascate at Eur from 13 to 17 July, from Tuesday to Saturday, the “Vino X Roma” event will be held, organized by Excellence in collaboration with EUR spa.
Five days dedicated to food and wine culture, in particular to the wine production of our country and to the great catering of the capital, all under the sign of environmental, economic and social sustainability. The initiative aims to take stock of the progress in qualitative terms that outline the contours of an increasingly evolved and friendly production of the territory, thanks to the “green” turning point undertaken by a number of companies in exponential growth.

In our opinion, the combination of food quality-sustainability-culture is now an essential common heritage. And this is why we have thought of an event that, without giving up the pleasure of tasting wines, products and dishes of the highest level, is able to offer the visitor emotions and food for thought to share in an evocative path in one of the areas most beautiful greens of the capital “.
Indeed Eur is another of the great protagonists of Vino X Roma. The district – symbol of rationalist architecture, essential and free from frills, becomes the ideal stage for the conceptual representation of Italian food and wine excellences, exhibited as works in an open-air modern art museum, where the public can meet the artisans of wine, taste the products and access the large catering space where the major professionals of the capital will take turns every evening.
The spectacular waterfalls will frame the theater, where the rich schedule will bring to the fore talks animated by professionals in the sector who will discuss current issues in the world of wine, moments of cultural study with the presentation of unpublished volumes and meetings with writers, tastings themes by the Italian Sommelier Foundation (FIS), amateur mini courses to approach wine.
Wine will also be the protagonist of the large cooking show schedule, where each dish will be paired with the perfect glass, while in the “WineXability” space the barman Massimo D’Addezio it will lead the public to discover mixed drinking, revealing the unusual marriage between wine and spirits through “DRINKABLE-Berebeneovunque”.
All this and much more in the name of sustainability thanks also to the collaboration with Ekoe and Plastic Free, official suppliers of compostable materials for the entire event.
