Reggio Calabria: in the sights of the Carabinieri two construction and commercial companies in the area, complaints and administrative sanctions up to 10,000 euros
Several checks were put in place by the Carabinieri in the territory of the Piana di Gioia Tauro, in order to prevent and suppress illegal conduct even in the context of commercial activities. In this context, in recent days, in Rosarno as a result of investigations conducted by the soldiers of the Tenenza, various companies persisting in the area have come under fire, due to irregularities that have emerged both of an administrative and criminal nature.
In particular, the men of the weapon reported to the Command of the Guardia di Finanza competent for the territory a short and long-term car and van rental company, in the absence of the planned municipal SCIA for the exercise of commercial activity and attribution of the VAT number.
Specifically, from the investigations carried out, the company in question turned out to be a foreigner with registered office in another country, and investigations are underway aimed at identifying any tax violations.
Also in Rosarno, the soldiers of the local Tenenza with the support of the specialized carabinieri of the Reggio Calabria Labor Inspectorate Unit, denounced the owner of a local construction company, 23 years old in the place, because, during the course of verification activities, found irregularities in the construction of the scaffolding in violation of the regulations relating to the suitability of temporary works: they found, in detail, the lack of the parapet and the toeboard, as well as the structure resting on concrete bricks.
The same activity was also contested with two administrative sanctions, one of which for a value of approximately 9,000 euros, as it was also ascertained that two of the four workers present also received citizenship income, while the other of approximately 1,000 euros, for irregularity in the construction of the scaffolding, high in respect of the owner, ordered to make the work regular.
