Rome, disabled motorist blocked by the rain in an underpass: saved by the carabinieri

A motorist with disabilities was saved by a police patrol from the Nucleo Radiomobile, this afternoon, around 2.30 pm, in Rome, after being stuck in the flooded underpass of via Silvio d’Amico with via Gaspare Gozzi. On board a Ford Fiesta he did not notice the flooding and remained stranded, with the water beginning to enter the cockpit. The driver asked for help and Carabinieri on patrol in transit stopped and rescued him, managing to open the door and rescue him. For the disabled boy who luckily is fine, just a big scare.
