The European Football Championships are about to begin and therefore the podcast of the Post on the European Football Championships is about to begin. On the contrary: somehow the podcast starts today, with a prologue that you can find at the bottom of this article and above all on the Post app for podcasts (download here for iOS and here for Android), where you will find the new episodes as you go. .
The podcast is called Wembley, it will be released at 12 every day (or almost, but we will explain better along the way) starting from Thursday 10 June and will be conducted by Simone Conte, already podcaster with The Reserve, one of the most popular and appreciated Italian football podcasts, radio host and content producer of a Serie A team; with daily forays by sports journalist Camilla Spinelli and the people who are part of the editorial staff of the Post.
Why Wembley? Because in the Wembley stadium, in London, the semifinals and the final of the tournament will be played, which this year will be traveling between 11 different European cities. Inside Wembley – the podcast, not the stadium – you will find an account of the matches and above all of the stories around the matches, the players and the participating nations, with all their intertwining with popular culture and the things we will inevitably end up discussing at dinner and in the lunch break. It will not be a podcast exclusively for the fans – we will continue to explain well things – but we will also cheer for Italy, of course. Come on, let’s start.
