Many have received the injection these days and will have to return for the booster in mid-July (if it was given to them Pfizer O Modern) or at the end of August (in the case of AstraZeneca). If the holidays have already been fixed, in many cases for work reasons, what can be done?
How to move the second dose of the vaccine
You can try to shift the second dose first. The extraordinary commissioner for the emergency, Francesco Figliuolo, invited the Regions to be more flexible, therefore to grant greater flexibility in the choice of dates, but always within themaximum interval between doses allowed byAifa (maximum 42 days for Pfizer and Moderna and 12 weeks for AstraZeneca). If the duration of the set interval is exceeded, the entire vaccination cycle will have to be repeated. Second dose on vacation
This possibility, as specified by the Government, will be granted exceptionally and, basically, tourists who take their holidays in a region other than their own will be able to take advantage of it at least two weeks. To do this, they will have to book on the website of the Region where they are on vacation, choosing the dose of the vaccine already inoculated. It will then be up to the Regions to evaluate the requests and possibly communicate the date and place of administration to the applicant via email or text message. This will affect not only vacationers, but also seasonal workers who move during the summer. So far they have expressed their willingness to have tourists vaccinated in their vaccination centers: Puglia, Piedmont, Lombardy, Liguria, Veneto and the Aeolian Islands. But in the next few days other Regions should join this initiative.
