Tragedy in the province of Rome where the railway police found the body of a man who died hit by a train on the Rome-Cassino section, between Colle Mattia and Zagarolo. The alarm went off when the workers who were carrying out the work noticed the body, about 500 meters from the tracks that run along the Zagarolo station, just before 12.
To understand, however, when the accident occurred. The victim is a 44-year-old man living near Zagarolo. It is not excluded, in fact, that the man may have been hit by a train at dawn today or even yesterday night, with his body thrown away from the tracks and fallen into a ditch where – in fact – he was found.
Furthermore, the investigator will have to understand whether it is a voluntary gesture or not. Train traffic returned to normal after the judicial authorities’ findings around 2.30 pm. During the stop, there were slowdowns of up to 50 minutes for 9 regional trains.
