Terence Hill stops. A real stop from Don Matteo, which leaves a great void in the audience of Rai 1. Now the actor’s son speaks, who says: “He feels the need to devote himself to something else and also to spend more time with my mother. He will leave Don Matteo as he did with One step from heaven. The fact is, these series keep him busy for months on set, every day. Pope he is no longer a kid, even if it seems indefatigable. He will do other, less demanding things ”.

In the words of the actor’s son it would not be goodbye at all, but a simple goodbye. Jess Hill he reiterates that his father just wants a break from the set, which commits him from the first airing (practically since 2000). Does Terence want to devote himself to new projects? Apparently yes. He probably wants to spend more time with his wife Lori Zwicklbauer, to which it has been linked since the 1960s.

In fact, they met on the set of the film “God forgives, i do not!”. It was 1967 and Terence was acting together with the inseparable Bud Spencer. His American wife was the production secretary. Between the two, as the well-informed tell, it would have been a real love at first sight. In 1967 the marriage and the beginning of a love that still lasts today. Terence’s son tells how his parents lived the latter very difficult period. “It made their love even stronger. They have been at home, always together, for Covid. And next to my mother now my father is ready to leave Don Matteo’s cassock ”, says Hill jr.
