In the last few hours, interesting details have been leaked about the next top of the range that Qualcomm will launch on the market, the direct successor to the Snapdragon 888 we have seen on most of the top of the Android range. According to reports from Evan Blass, Qualcomm’s new processor does not yet have a commercial name and is identified by the code SM8450. One of the most interesting innovations compared to the previous generation is the implementation of cores made according to the new architecture Arm v9.

The modem will be Snapdragon X65 5G, a step up from the X60 5G we see in the current generation, which will support all types of 5G networks. The GPU will be a Adreno 730, although at the moment it is not clear how many improvements it will bring compared to the current Adreno 660. Finally, the modulo ISP, for signal processing, it should propose interesting upgrades compared to what we find in the Snapdragon 888.
At the moment it was not known when Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon will be launched. However, we expect one full operation on the market starting next year.
