A man’s body was found in a suitcase on the street in Rome. The alarm went off around 7 in via Federico Sacco, in the Santa Maria del Soccorso area, when a passer-by contacted 112 noticing blood stains leaking from the suitcase. Police on the spot.
The agents, after seeing the inside of a man’s head, following the traces of blood, arrived at an apartment where they found their partner.
According to what has been learned, the suitcase was closed with duct tape and had been left next to a car. From a crack the investigators arrived on the spot and glimpsed a head. The man was identified by the police. He is a 37-year-old Italian, with a police history. The position of the 39-year-old partner is being examined. The woman reported to the officers that the man had been dead in the house for several days and decided to get rid of the body. “He had been dead here in the house for several days and I decided to get rid of the body like that,” the 39-year-old explained to the police.
According to what Agi learns, the hypothesis currently favored by those who investigate is that the man died of an overdose. At that point the partner, a 39-year-old, would have torn the body to pieces. “The body was under the house – reasons an investigator – The dynamic is strange, if he had wanted to get rid of the body and not let it be found, he would not have left it a few steps from the house”. The police of the Rome Mobile Squad are investigating the case. Investigations are ongoing and all leads remain open.
