CyberConnect2 is about to announce a new game, yet mysterious, as revealed by CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama in a tweet in which he was particularly excited, translated into English by Gematsu:
Matsuyama: “I keep checking the date of a game we are developing (unannounced) and am getting so excited that I burst into tears. There is nothing left to cut or add. Okay as it is. Eh, you guys did a great job. We will soon show it to the world.“
CyberConnect2 is a studio known in recent times especially for the realization of licensed titles. Many fans of Japanese RPGs, however, remember with fervor the series .hack //, made at the time of PS2, as well as other original titles such as the particular Asura’s Wrath or Silent Bomber.
Recently the studio got a big one success with Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and is working on another important title taken from a Japanese series: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan, which is very reminiscent of the Naruto series (also by CyberConnect2 and always under license).
