In the next few hours a ‘blitz’ of bad weather is expected in Milan, with rains and thunderstorms that could hit the city. From 14:00 on Saturday 5 June a yellow code weather alert is in effect – risk of danger two out of four – for ‘severe thunderstorms’ issued by the civil protection of the Lombardy region.
Seveso and Lambro will be under special surveillance by municipal and civil protection technicians. The rainfall, although abundant, should not cause the two rivers to overflow. The alert will cease at 10pm on Saturday.
