Weather next week, still thunderstorms coming

SITUATION. The weakening of the northern edge of the anticyclone that will take place between Saturday e Sunday it will be followed from the beginning of next week by a flow of medium western high altitude humid currents, which will cross central Europe and will be able to infiltrate as far as the central Mediterranean, involving Italy. In addition to the central-northern regions, the weather is therefore destined to become more unstable also on part of the South next week, although the episodes will alternate with temporary sunny spaces.

WEATHER MONDAY. The day will be characterized by a marked variability with first showers already in the initial part of the day on the Northeast and parts of Central Italy, especially inland areas and the Adriatic side, and a large part of the southern peninsula, due to the impulse that arrived on Sunday. In the afternoon hours there will be a general intensification of rains and thunderstorms, in particular near the Alpine and Apennine areas also in Southern Italy, with local encroachments to plains and coasts and phenomena that locally they may also be intense, however, tending to lose energy during the evening hours. Falling temperatures also in the South.

TREND UNTIL HALF WEEK. Also Tuesday clouds, showers and thunderstorms will concentrate in the daytime hours near the mountain areas, to quickly extend to most of the plains and locally coastal stretches of the Center-North, but attenuating during the evening. Temperatures will lose a few degrees, especially in the South, with the heat that will therefore be reduced compared to the final days of the current week. Wednesday instead the anticyclone will try to reinforce and expand from south-western Europe towards central Europe, favoring a greater stabilization of the weather, even if in the daytime some thunderstorms will always be possible in the vicinity of mountainous areas in general, in local encroachment to adjacent plains and coasts .

Weather trend from 11 June

TREND SECOND PART OF THE WEEK. A rather vast anticyclonic field seems to be intending to consolidate in central-western Europe, tending to extend as far as the north Atlantic latitudes during the second half of next week. Conditions would follow stability and pleasant climate in the western states of the Continentand, while along the right edge of the anticyclone cooler and more unstable northern currents would flow, involving eastern Europe and marginally also the central Mediterranean and Italy. With these assumptions, starting from the second decade of the month, Italy would find itself on the edge between the two baric bands, lapped by the northern flows, responsible for not hot weather for the occasional passage of some northern impulses with a few more thunderstorms more likely on the Alps, Northeast and Apennine areas. Given the temporal distance, the trend could undergo important changes. We advise you to follow the next updates.
