Giorgia Meloni is at the center of the opening debate of L’aria che tira. The political in-depth talk conducted by Myrta Merlino aired on La7, in the episode of Friday 4 June dedicates ample space to the meeting that took place yesterday, between Prime Minister Mario Draghi and the leader of Fratelli d’Italia. A “cordial and attentive” meeting so defined by Meloni who remarked the clear difference compared to the talks with Giuseppe Conte which instead consisted of mere “hearings”. The growth in the Fdl polls is constant and progressive, so much so that the hypothesis of a future as prime minister seems to be slowly approaching. The future at Palazzo Chigi after Draghi could therefore materialize.
Guest in the studio Fabrizio Roncone, signature of Corriere della Sera, who comments as follows: “As long as Draghi is there, she is in an armchair in honey, she would be able to reach 50 percent …”. The editorial director of Libero, Vittorio Feltri, also intervenes on the subject, underlining how his consent is due to the hard political work: “Absolute evidence is the fact that Meloni is a good politician who has gradually increased her consensus. It is normal that being the only one in opposition to draw great indisputable advantages – he underlines – I find it completely normal for the leader of the opposition to meet a prime minister who can discuss the problems that torment Italy. ” Then he continues: “The fact that Meloni is a woman is absolutely not important because if we are still here looking at people’s sex we will never finish her, we would go back to the Middle Ages”.
Getting a woman to arrive at Palazzo Chigi has never happened and with Meloni at the head of the polls it could break the wall, the presenter points out. “It was time, we should all be happy and not ask ourselves why that is when we go towards normality we should not be surprised, we must be surprised when normality is far away” – replies the director of Libero. Alessandra Ghisleri, director of Euromedia Research also seems to confirm the hypothesis according to the numbers of the polls: “According to the opposition, Meloni has an advantage but if she manages to convince even that part of the undecided and abstainers it could reach over 40 percent . “
