Sala benevolently blessed the attempt at a single plank that holds the reformist world together from Alleanza Civica, to Italia Viva, to Per Italia con Europa, to Lavoriamo per Milano, to the Democratic Center, to Base Italia. “I know they are working on it and I think they have to decide quickly enough, I am not against a single list then as always the votes have to be weighed and I imagine that there is a discussion between them to understand how each one appears and with which candidates ” he has declared.
“What does it matter if their programs clash with each other, if coexistence with the Social Centers can become a problem, if the visions for social recovery are different, so much so are all votes for me” perhaps thinks Sala. But there is that liberal reformist definition that cannot be the sum of numbers. Even the autonomous list of socialist reformists is claiming a reformist space with a history of exemplary mayors, but not supporting Sala.
Scalpelli (former socialist, former councilor for Sport with Albertini) in the “coherence” of his thinking, is now the spokesperson for the 650 signatories who propose the unified list. And the level of the “thinkers” who are already thinking about the multiplication of votes is undoubtedly of intellectual depth, people who are used to command, who organize the labor: Sala can be satisfied.
And it is extravagant that life, the everyday, does not appear among reformist thinkers, but pulses with needs and reforms, the real, necessary, sacrosanct ones. They do not go to the tables for a select few, those entitled to the many opposition committees, but this is above all civil society. Undoubtedly, for example, the Parco Sempione association, the Navigli Committee, the Sant’Agostino Committee, the one in via Melzo and via Lambro, the Lazzaretto Committee and again the Piazza Archinto Committee: all against the administrative management of a mayor who never listened to them. But there are many others that are not caged in lists of convenience
