Serious road accident Thursday afternoon (June 3), in the connecting stretch between the A1 and A21 motorways in the territory of Fiorenzuola, direction Brescia.

The dramatic toll is five deaths. They are workers from a construction company in the Brescia area: three Italians aged 54, 61 and 66, and two Moroccans aged 40 and 51. According to what has been learned, one is a 40-year-old resident in Covo, in the lower Bergamo area. They are partial data, which await confirmation from the police on the spot and who are alerting the families.

The traffic police intervened on the scene of the accident and took care of the findings. Also present were the firefighters and doctors of 118.

From a first reconstruction, it seems that a Fiat Doblò hit a truck stopped in the queue due to another accident. The impact pushed the Doblò under the truck. The five occupants of the van died instantly and the entire stretch of the motorway was closed to traffic
