BORGO VENETO. His Fiat Doblò crashed head-on into a truck: there was nothing for him to do. At 1.30pm on Thursday, Emanuele Spoladore, 51, an electrical engineer from Saletto di Borgo Veneto, died.
The accident occurred in via Cavaizza, in the locality of Saletto: Spoladore was returning home from work and was practically 200 meters from the house.
The dynamics of the accident have yet to be clarified. On the spot the surveys are entrusted to the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Este. The Este firefighters and 118 health workers also intervened. The mayor Michele Sigolotto arrived immediately in via Cavaizza.
Spoladore, an electro-technician-maintainer, was a well-known person in the town, in particular for his active role in the municipal group of Civil Protection. Married, he leaves two children, a boy and a girl.
