The first stone has been laid for the new school building in via Toscana which will include a gymnasium and nine classrooms serving the entire complex of the four high schools in the area.
Cost of the intervention 3.5 million euros financed by the Province. Completion of the works expected by the end of 2022.
The project includes a new type B1 gym to house a regulation basketball court, changing rooms with toilets and showers for students, a teacher room, infirmary and storage, nine new classrooms (three on the ground floor and six on the first floor), a teachers, services and ancillary rooms.
“The Province returns to make important investments in school buildings: thanks to the increase in financial resources and careful planning of interventions, we will be able to give concrete answers to the needs of spaces in the school world, which are destined to grow further for next ten years. The new complex, once the intervention is completed, will be named after Professor Luciano Campanini.
The ceremony was attended, in addition to President Rossi, by the provincial delegate to the Aldo Spina School, the mayor of Parma Federico Pizzarotti, the director of the provincial school office Maurizio Bocedi and the school leaders of the Bertolucci high school Aluisi Tosolini, of the Itis Leonardo Da Vinci Elisabetta Botti, Ipsia Levi Federico Ferrari, Giordani Alberto Berna, the managers of the Province Gianpaolo Monteverdi and Paola Cassinelli, the construction managers Gianluca Pelizzi, Francesco Gabellini and Davide Anelli as well as the representatives of the contractor firm Consorzio Stabile Poliedro, and of the executor Coge Renovatio Srl.
