Municipality of Milan: Area B and C and regulated parking will be back from 9 June
Return to classic mobility in agreement with the Prefecture
Milan, June 3 (askanews) – Next Wednesday, June 9, as decided by the Municipality of Milan in agreement with the Prefecture, the mobility provisions that had been temporarily suspended as part of the measures aimed at containing the Coronavirus, with the reactivation of Area B, the restoration of the normal hours of Area C, the regulated parking in the paid areas (blue stripes) and in those reserved for residents (yellow stripes), and the ban on parking for street cleaning. This was announced in a note by the Milanese Administration itself, explaining that
From 9 June, therefore, the cameras of Area B will be reactivated, the restricted traffic area with prohibition of access and circulation for the most polluting vehicles that coincides with most of the territory of the city of Milan, with the usual weekly hours: from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays), from 7.30 to 19.30), It will be forbidden to enter diesel vehicles euro 0, 1, 2 and 3, petrol euro 0 and 1 and all vehicles over 12 meters in length (except those directed to their offices ). 145 cameras will be in operation: of these, 55 will immediately serve as sanctions and the remaining as the pre-exercise period ends. Another 43 cameras will be installed and progressively activated during the year.
Area C also returns to normal operation (for a fee therefore from 7.30 to 19.30 and with access bans for diesel vehicles euro 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 and petrol euro 0 and 1), until now active with reduced hours. The parking with the yellow stalls intended for residents will return to be reserved and the paid parking, with the blue stalls, will return to being paid (except, where provided, for those who reside or are domiciled in the respective areas in possession of the pass) . The control service of the parking ban on the occasion of street cleaning is also restored. Specific exceptions will remain in force for people who work in the health and social and health sector of the emergency and the suspension of Area B for diesel euro 4 will be maintained until further notice, in line with the provision taken by the regions of the Po basin.
