“The Lazio Region must work harder and better to ensure the right to health of all citizens and to guarantee a health system that is as efficient and effective as possible. We are, in fact, very concerned about the data that emerge from the media reports on the services lost or not provided – in time for Covid – between scheduled hospitalizations, screening, specialist visits and outpatient exams: a context that negatively affects the lengthening and timing of waiting lists in our regional territory. It is clear and glaring how much the pandemic emergency has had a decisive impact on this phenomenon but now that the vaccination campaign is in full swing and the infections are significantly decreasing, we hope that the Region will work more quickly and concretely to ensure quality health services and amount for non-Covid patients. There is a lot of ground to recover: investments, hiring and stabilization of medical and nursing staff and a digital innovation that focuses on advanced technologies such as telemedicine are needed. Will Zingaretti and company succeed? “.
Thus, in a note, the Lazio regional councilor, Adriano Palozzi.
