In 1980, Carlo Verdone’s first film as a director arrived in cinemas, “A beautiful lot”, a film that over the years has become a cult of Italian comedy thanks to its iconic characters, many of whom played by Verdone himself (at the time a veteran from the great success of the television variety Non stop). There has been a lot of talk recently – on the occasion of his untimely death at the age of 57 – of Isabella De Bernardi, who played the role of Ruggero / Carlo Verdone’s hippy girlfriend. But what happened to the other protagonists of the film (which can be seen again on Thursday 3 June at 4.45 pm on Rete 4)?
