The Municipality of Milan after months of problems in the face of fires and public safety, complaints to the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor, requested INPS – owner of the land – to clean up and reclaim the area within 90 days of that famous intervention by the March 13 last.
Intervention for which newspaper articles came out with great fanfare, after having feared an eviction against some squatters, who built a structure to use it as a disco.
Nothing has changed since last March and the squatters still organize evenings and parties as if nothing had happened.
But the real problem concerns the Authorized Feline Colony which, again since last March, has never obtained clear indications on where it should be relocated to allow the bulldozers to proceed freely and without causing damage to the animals.
A few sentences, said almost timidly by a Zone Councilor, who was not in the role useful to provide official information.
What will happen to the cats? Will the tutors be able to have valid and official indications by Sunday?
We will keep you updated, asking you to be there if things go for the worse.
