ITsART, from Baglioni to Verdi Italy on line – Culture & Entertainment

The first big event announced is the return of Claudio Baglioni with “In this story that is mine”, a spectacular “staging” at the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma of his latest album of unreleased songs, which, he promises, “will thrill just like live “(from 2 June to 21). And to navigate between the three macro-sections Palco (homage to the performing arts), Places (the Italian landscape, its variety and its history) and Stories (dedicated to the seventh art, including award-winning films, documentaries and new talents), there is it is for every palate.
You can choose for large realities, from the concerts of the San Carlo or the Florentine Maggio Musicale, to the archeology of the Mann in Naples and the masterpieces of the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome, but also the discoveries of the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci in Milan. It will not be like watching live, but the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino has three high-impact titles in store for ITsART: Verdi’s La Forza del Destino, in the new staging with Zubin Mehta on the podium, directed by Carlus Padrissa and La Fura dels Bau ( June 6); Mozart’s Cosi fan tutti again with Maestro Zubin Mehta and directed by Sven-Eric Bechtolf (June 13); and Adriana Lecouvreur by Francesco Cilea, with the baton of Daniel Harding and directed by Frederic Wake-Walker (June 20). A full jazz, however, for the Cosmo Concearth which transforms the staircase of the Yum into a stage under the stars with Gavino Murgia and Sainkho Namtchyla, on the occasion of the Music Festival and the inauguration of the Cosmowomen exhibition, Places as Constellations, curated by the architect Spanish Izaskun Chinchilla Moreno (2 July).
