The voluntary association of Milanese taxi drivers donated chocolate eggs to be allocated to the pediatric area of ​​the Pini Presidium

Easter is approaching and to make it sweeter for the children who will spend the holidays hospitalized in the pediatric area at the ASST Gaetano Pini-CTO in Milan, the volunteers of the association have thought of it Taxi Service Milan, a non-profit organization formed by volunteer taxi drivers. Arriving in their white cars, the taxi drivers handed over to the medical staff of the ASST Easter eggs for young patients. “A gesture – volunteers say – to be close to those less fortunate than us”. It is commendable – comments the Dr. Paola Maria Pirola, Social Health Director of the ASST Gaetano Pini-CTO that in such a difficult historical moment for the transport sector, taxi drivers have found time and resources to invest in a voluntary activity. We thank them for this gesture of closeness to our little patients who need to live the moment of hospitalization with the greatest possible serenity, given that they are forced to limit contacts with the outside as much as possible. We are sure that these eggs will be a welcome gift”. The Territorial Healthcare Company Gaetano Pini-CTO, a reference point for orthopedics, specialist rehabilitation, rheumatology and neurology, at a national level, includes three hospitals in Milan: Gaetano Pini, the CTO and the Fanny Finzi Ottolenghi Rehabilitation Center.
