Bethesda has finally announced with a trailer the release date of the improved version for PS5 e Xbox Series X|S The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood. The new expansion of this popular MMO will arrive free for all owners of the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.June 8, 2021.
ESO: Enhanced console version represents a huge leap forward for game graphics and performance on Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5. Here’s a small summary of what players can expect in June:
- Next-generation performance: Previously, ESO on consoles ran at 30 FPS, but thanks to the next-generation power of the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, the game will run at 60 FPS in “Performance Mode”. Those who want to feast their eyes on graphics can try 4K resolution at 30 FPS with ESO’s “Fidelity Mode”.
- Viewing Distance Augmented: For gamers who like to admire the immense beauty of ESO, the game’s viewing distance is nearly doubled, allowing them to better see the ever-expanding world of Tamriel.
- Improved uploadsHarnessing the power of the next generation means uploads have been nearly halved on the Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5, allowing players to immerse themselves in the wonderful world of ESO with reduced waiting time.
ESO: Enhanced console version will bring many more improvements to reflections, shadows, depth of field and ambient occlusion with Screen Space Global Illumination, plus updated anti-aliasing and unlocked textures.
In the Blackwood chapter, players will have to discover the plans daedrici and the tyrannical machinations that consume the region and trace links to the prince of destruction and his terrible plans for Tamriel.
While Blackwood’s is an independent story, its events delve into the wider saga of Gates of Oblivion that will run throughout 2021. To showcase some of the improvements brought by this Elder Scrolls update, Bethesda has also released a series of images of the game in PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S versions.
