Homophobia: tension in Milan between students and police – Chronicle

(ANSA) – MILAN, MAY 15 – Moments of tension, shoving and some blows this afternoon in Milan between the police and a group of demonstrators who intervened in Piazza del Duomo to protest against an anti-Zan ddl initiative.

The rally garrison was organized by the ProVita e Famiglia Association with the title ‘Let’s stay free’ and among the people, surprisingly, the leader of the Lega Matteo Salvini had also participated.

The counter-demonstrators, belonging to student associations such as the Student Network and Tsunami, showed up around 4 pm shouting ‘Shame, shame, Zan immediately ddl’.

The police intervened to keep the two groups separate even with some blows against the students who then moved to Piazza Fontana, where they then stopped for a peaceful sit-in. (HANDLE).
