In the Black group of the second phase of Serie A2 Old Wild West, Stella Azzurra Roma-Biella is scheduled for the fifth day, second return. Group with three teams, the first two access the playout, the last one relegates directly to Serie B. In this group the teams do not carry the results of the direct matches of the first phase with them.

Ball for two Wednesday 12 May, at 20.30 at the “Altero Felici” Arena in Rome. Referees: Caforio, Scrima, Perocco. First leg: 67-100. Complete roster for both teams, here are the statements on the eve.

Fabio Micheletto (assistant coach) – “We are starting our second round of this second phase by playing against Biella, a team with two highly talented Americans, whose main weapons are energy and running. We will do everything to limit their offensive peculiarities. We are aware of the importance of this match and the intensity that we should put on the pitch to win the two points ”.

Iacopo Squarcina (coach) – “We played an important match against Bergamo, thanks to the boys and our medical staff who got us back on our feet after a difficult week. I studied literature, I don’t like to make calculations, we are a team that must run and continue to play our basketball trying to win in every match, starting with this challenge against the Blue Star ”.
Marco Laganà (player, point guard) – “We are coming from a great victory that allowed us to overturn the goal difference against Bergamo as well. Now comes the race on the field of the Blue Star, a challenge that we want to win at all costs to be sure of first place in the group before thinking about what comes next. It’s a short group and anything can happen, we can’t let our guard down ”.
