MILAN – “On Monday 10 May we will open the booking for the vaccination of citizens belonging to the age group 50-59 years”. This was announced by the president of Lombardy region Attilio Fontana in an interview with SkyTg24.
“The vaccination campaign – underlined the president – is proceeding swiftly. Unfortunately, due to the lack of vaccines we had to slow down, in fact General Figliuolo lowered the target for our region, which now stands at around 85,000 inoculations per day. However, I want to underline that Lombardy is the only one, together with two other regions, to have maintained and exceeded the targets “.
PFIZER AND MODERNA’S RECALL TIMES EXTENDED – Fontana then commented on the circular issued yesterday by the Ministry of Health after the CTS decision to extend the recall times for those who received the first dose of Pfizer and Moderna. “Starting tomorrow, Friday 7 May – he added – the appointments for the second dose of Pfizer and Moderna will be set for the sixth week (35-42 days) and no longer at 21 or 28. Nothing changes for those to whom it is the first dose has already been given and they already have a booster appointment. In this way we will be able to involve a greater number of people at least with the first dose ”.
The procedures for booking vaccinations are always the same, namely:
