Rome, Zingaretti: if they used asphalt to cover the holes
And not on the banks of the Tiber
Rome, May 4 (askanews) – “If we put the asphalt on the roads to cover the holes and not on the banks of the Lungotevere it would be nice …”. Words of the president of the Lazio region, Nicola Zingaretti, during his speech, a little while ago in Rome, at the inauguration of “One hundred crossings”, the new regional cultural and multifunctional hub, in Centocelle. “This is the beauty of this city, a city full of holes and we put the bitumen on the Lungotevere” said Zingaretti ironically in referring to the cycle path on the Tiber which has been the subject of much criticism for days. The governor then recalled how much the Lazio region is doing for the Roman suburbs.
