Cases of contagion from Covid-19 drop in the Parma area and province. In the last 24 hours the new positivity was 7. There was also one death: it is a 70-year-old man. There are 17 patients in intensive care, one more than yesterday.

Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 371,776 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna, 641 more than yesterday, out of a total of 11,062 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of tampons made since yesterday, equal to 5.8%, is not indicative of the general trend given the number of tampons performed, which on Sunday is lower than on other days. Furthermore, on holidays, especially the molecular ones, are made primarily on cases for which a positive result is often expected.

In the meantime, the anti-Covid vaccination campaign continues, which in this phase concerns the health care staff and the Cra, including inpatients of residences for the elderly, most of them already immunized, those over eighty in home care and their spouses, if aged 80 or more , and people aged 65 and over.

The progressive count of the administrations carried out can be followed in real time on the portal of the Emilia-Romagna Region dedicated to the topic: https://salute.regione.emilia-romagna.it/vaccino-anti-covid, which also indicates how many second doses administered.

At 3 pm a total of 1,728,140 doses were administered; out of the total, 576,144 are second doses, ie people who have completed the vaccination cycle.
