The official TV commentator of the club, already winner of the 1983 championship, fell ill during a paddle match. His conditions are serious, he is in a reserved prognosis
Fear today in Rome for Ubaldo Righetti. The former Giallorossi Italian champion, today commentator of the club’s official TV (yesterday he was regularly in Trigoria to comment on the match against Sampdoria) probably felt ill due to a heart attack during the day during a paddle match and for this reason he is hospitalized to the Sant’Andrea hospital. Righetti, 58, is in intensive care and the prognosis is reserved due to a second heart attack.
A great friend of Max Allegri, with whom he was having lunch only last week, Righetti is one of the former players most loved by the fans. He worked for years in Rai and in local broadcasters before devoting himself, for a couple of years, to Rome TV, where he comments on the team’s matches. As a player, defending role, he wore the shirts of Rome, Udinese, Lecce, Pescara and Terracina. He wore the blue shirt 8 times and with Roma he won a championship and 3 Italian cups.
