The Public Prosecutor of Milan, with the adjunct Letizia Mannella and pm Rosaria Stagnaro e Paolo Filippini, asked for the shortened rite on the rape charges against Alberto Genovese.

The former start-up wizard has been in prison in San Vittore since last October on charges of sexual violence and the sale of drugs to an 18-year-old during a party that was held in his home renamed “Terrazza sentimento”.

In February of this year he was notified of a second precautionary custody order in prison for another sexual violence, which took place in the same way as that in Milan, against a 23-year-old in Ibiza. His girlfriend is also under investigation for that matter, but not the recipient of pre-trial detention Sarah Borruso who was present during the events.

A further investigation was then started on Genovese for the hypothesis of tax evasion of 4.3 million euros which had then been seized. For this line of investigation, the investigating judge Tommaso Perna ordered the release of the sum. Perna will therefore have to decide whether or not for the abbreviated procedure and for the application for release presented by the lawyers of Genovese.
