The Civil Protection of the Campania Region, in light of the assessments of the Functional Center, has extended the weather alert with a yellow hydrogeological criticality level currently in force throughout Campania, until 11.59 pm tomorrow, Monday 6 December. For the whole day today and for the whole day of tomorrow, scattered rainfall is expected, which could also have a downpour and thunderstorm character, intense in some points of the territory.
Possible gusts of wind during precipitation are still associated with this weather picture. A hydrogeological risk is expected which could manifest itself with flooding, flooding, problems deriving from phenomena related to rainwater disposal systems and raising the hydrometric levels of watercourses. Rock falls are still possible in several points of the territory and landslides linked to particularly fragile hydrogeological conditions, due to the saturation of the soils.
The Civil Protection of the Campania Region still recommends that the competent authorities pay the utmost attention to the expected criticalities, keeping in place all the measures aimed at preventing, combating and mitigating the expected phenomena, both in terms of hydraulic and hydrogeological risk; Operations Room and Functional Center follow the evolution of the weather and rainfall conditions: attention must be paid to the notices issued by the regional Civil Protection.
