123 new cases of Coronavirus in the Forlì area. Since the beginning of the epidemic, 463,446 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna, 1,707 more than on Saturday, out of a total of 29,952 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of tampons made since Saturday is 5.7%. The control and prevention activity continues: of the newly infected, 816 are asymptomatic identified as part of the regional contact tracing and screening activities. Overall, 450 of the new positives were already in isolation at the time of swab execution, 475 were identified within known outbreaks. The average age of new positives on Sunday is 40.7 years.
Of the 816 asymptomatic, 405 were identified thanks to contact tracing, 11 with serological screening, 103 through tests for risk categories introduced by the Region, 5 through pre-admission tests. The epidemiological investigation is still ongoing for 292 cases. The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 398 new cases, followed by Modena (201), Rimini (181), Ravenna (179), Reggio Emilia (151), Cesena (129), Forlì (123), Ferrara (115) , Parma (112), Imolese district (61) and finally Piacenza 48 cases. These are the data – ascertained at 12 noon on Sunday on the basis of institutional requests – relating to the progress of the epidemic in the region.

In the last 24 hours, 17,514 molecular swabs were carried out, for a total of 6,716,528. In addition, there are also 12,438 rapid swabs. As for the total number of people healed, they are 600 more than on Saturday and reach 424,281. The active cases, ie the actual patients, on Sunday are 25,333 (+ 1,097). Of these, people in isolation at home, or those with mild symptoms who do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, are a total of 24,526 (+1,070), 96.8% of the total number of active cases.
Unfortunately, there are 10 deaths: 2 in the province of Piacenza (a 40-year-old woman and a man from Carpineto Piacentino); 2 in the province of Bologna (2 men, respectively 74 and 94 years old from Sasso Marconi); 2 in the province of Ravenna (2 men, one of 92 and a man of 70 from outside the region); 3 in the province of Forlì-Cesena (a 90-year-old man from Savignano sul Rubicone, a 36-year-old man from Cesenatico and an 80-year-old woman from Cesena) and one in the province of Rimini (an 88-year-old man from Bellaria-Igea Marina). In total, there were 13,832 deaths in Emilia-Romagna since the beginning of the epidemic.
There are 79 patients admitted to intensive care (+2 compared to Saturday), 728 those in the other Covid departments (+25). On the territory, the patients admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 3 in Piacenza (-1); 3 in Parma (number unchanged from Saturday); 3 in Reggio Emilia (-1); 8 in Modena (+1); 21 in Bologna (-1); 5 in Imola (unchanged); 9 in Ferrara (unchanged); 17 in Ravenna (+3); 4 in Forlì (+1); 1 in Cesena (unchanged); 5 in Rimini (unchanged).
These are the cases of positivity in the area since the beginning of the epidemic, which refer not to the province of residence, but to the one in which the diagnosis was made: 27,817 in Piacenza (+48 compared to Saturday, of which 21 symptomatic), 34,442 in Parma (+112, of which 45 symptomatic), 53,858 in Reggio Emilia (+151, of which 99 symptomatic), 76,575 in Modena (+210, of which 59 symptomatic), 96,960 in Bologna (+398, of which 236 symptomatic), 15,244 cases in Imola (+61, of which 44 symptomatic), 28,253 in Ferrara (+115, of which 34 symptomatic), 38,520 in Ravenna (+179, of which 118 symptomatic), 21,739 in Forlì (+123, of which 96 symptomatic), 24,310 in Cesena (+129, of which 42 symptomatic) and 45,728 in Rimini (+181, of which 97 symptomatic). Compared to what was communicated in recent days, 1 case was eliminated, positive for antigen test but not confirmed by the molecular swab.
Meanwhile, the anti-Covid vaccination campaign continues, extended to all citizens over 12 years of age. The progressive count of vaccine administrations carried out can be followed in real time on the portal of the Emilia-Romagna Region dedicated to the subject, which also indicates how many vaccination cycles have been completed and the additional doses administered. At 2 pm a total of 7,558,742 doses were administered; out of the total, 3,564,688 people have completed the vaccination cycle. The third doses are 644,132.
