Slovakia will be Italy’s opponent in the preliminary round of Davis Cup 2022, scheduled for Friday 4 and Saturday 5 March, in which the Azzurri led by Filippo Volandri will play away. This is what was established by the draw carried out in Madrid before the final between Russia and Croatia. The Slovakian side earned the right to participate in the preliminary round thanks to a 3-1 victory over Chile last September in Bratislava.
