Community in mourning in Fiumicello Villa Vicentina for the sudden death of a 14-year-old girl who, at the beginning of the week, had been seized by a serious illness that had required her immediate hospitalization in intensive care, at Cattinara in Trieste.
Everyone had hoped, in these days, that he could return to his passions and his normal life, together with his family, schoolmates and volleyball, one of his passions.
Even the last hopes, however, were extinguished today, when his brain death was decreed. The grief-stricken parents, grieving the loss of their daughter, have decided to donate her organs to allow those who are still struggling for their lives to have a perspective for the future.
“There are no words to describe the drama that has taken place in our country. We are close to the family in this moment of mourning” the words of the mayor of Fiumicello Villa Vicentina, Laura Sgubin.
