TRIESTE Compared to the pre-pandemic period, there are still two direct connections via Freccia from Trieste to Milan, but for the rest of the Trenitalia offer in the winter timetable, from 12 December, remains unchanged. Indeed, there is also a novelty, in collaboration with Trieste Trasporti: the Muggia Link, a special train + boat service that will allow you to reach the marina.

In presenting the new timetable, with the CEO Lugi Corradi, Trenitalia reaffirms “attention to the principles of environmental, social and governance sustainability” and the aim of guaranteeing daily train travel for students and workers, but also to consolidate the restart of tourism in the weeks of the Christmas holidays and in a winter that hopefully will not be penalized by Covid.
