Not Christmas without panettone. And to celebrate the Christmas cake handcrafted, Sunday December 5, the excellence in Rome and Lazio at the Boscolo Circo Massimo from 11.30 to 19.30, for the third edition of Maximo Panettone (organized by RistorAgency with the support of Azienda Agrimontana, Molino Dallagiovanna and Caviar Giaveri).
Many activities, for young and old, scheduled for the 2021 edition of the kermesse: the Christmas Market, panettone tasting counters, show cooking, in-depth talk on craftsmanship. Panettone, despite having been born in Milan in the 1500s, has now become the typical dessert of parties throughout Italy and in every region is produced with skill. With this event we want to give the opportunity to make known to the general public the handcrafted panettone produced by the best Roman and Lazio pastry shops, tasting it, buying it or giving it away to loved ones, explains the creator of the festival Fabio Carnevali.
On Sunday they will participate in the event that will decree the best panettone in Rome twenty-two pastry shops that will compete in two different categories: traditional and chocolate. The jury, made up of experts, will come subjected strictly panettone without a label or identification marks, for each competing pastry shop. At the end of the tastings, the winner will be announced. They will also be awarded four special awards: best packaging, best communication, public award and foreign press award.
From Rome Pasticceria Barberini, Casa Manfredi, D’Antoni, Con.Tro Contemporary Bistrot, Le Levain, Nero Vaniglia, Officina Dolciaria Woods, Panificio Nazzareno, Pasticceria Max, Truth and Vizio will participate. From the province of Rome: Art and chocolate (Campagnano), Bad Companies (Santa Severa), Panzini pastry shop (Subiaco), Patrizi pastry shop (Fiumicino), Zest (Ardea). Give her other provinces: Cakao (Cisterna), Caos Caff (Aprilia), Casa del dolce (San Felice Circeo), Cocco Sweet Lab (Rieti), Maciste Pasticceria (Cori), Un Sacco Goloso (Pontinia). Two le juries of the experts, one of gastronomic journalists and one of pastry chefs.
