THE COVID POINT OF TODAY 3 DECEMBER IN RAVENNA
For the provincial territory of Ravenna today, 3 December, 167 cases have been registered: there are 92 male patients and 75 female patients; 81 asymptomatic and 86 symptomatic; 167 in home isolation and no hospitalization. In detail: 96 for contact tracing; 51 for symptoms; 20 for private tests. 2579 swabs were performed. Today the Region reported 1 death: a 63-year-old male patient. About 82 healings can be estimated.
The total cases diagnosed since the beginning of the infection in the Ravenna area are 38137.

THE SITUATION IN THE REGION TODAY
Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, they have been registered in Emilia-Romagna 460,131 positive cases, 1,633 more than yesterday, out of a total of 36,174 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made since yesterday is 4.5%.
Meanwhile, the anti-Covid vaccination campaign continues, extended to all citizens over 12 years of age. The progressive count of vaccine administrations carried out can be followed in real time on the portal of the Emilia-Romagna Region dedicated to the topic: https://salute.regione.emilia-romagna.it/vaccino-anti-covid, which also indicates how many are the vaccination cycles completed and the additional doses administered. At 3 pm a total of 7,506,090 doses were administered; out of the total, 3,561,305 people have completed the vaccination cycle. The third doses are 601,657. The control and prevention activity continues: of the newly infected, 740 are asymptomatic identified as part of the regional contact tracing and screening activities. Overall, among the new positives 393 were already in isolation at the time of the swab execution, 524 were identified within already known foci.
The average age of new positives today is 39.4 years.
Of the 740 asymptomatic, 348 were identified thanks to contact tracing, 16 with serological screening, 65 through tests for risk categories introduced by the Region, 3 through pre-admission tests. The epidemiological investigation is still ongoing for 308 cases.
The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 355 new cases, followed by Modena (281) and Rimini (218); then Ravenna (167), Reggio Emilia (123), Ferrara (115) and Forlì (111). Then Cesena (94), the Imola district (63), Piacenza (57) and, finally, Parma (49 new cases). These are the data – ascertained at 12 noon today on the basis of institutional requests – relating to the progress of the epidemic in the region.
In the last 24 hours, 21,315 molecular swabs were carried out, for a total of 6,676,536. In addition, there are also 14,859 rapid antigen tests. As for the total number of people healed, they are 586 more than yesterday, reaching 422,779. The active cases, that is the actual patients, today are 23,542 (+1,040). Of these, people in isolation at home, or those with mild symptoms who do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, are a total of 22,780 (+1,027), 96.8% of the total number of active cases.
Unfortunately, there are seven deaths: one in the province of Modena (an 86-year-old woman), one in the province of Ferrara (a 70-year-old man), one in Forlì (a 76-year-old man), one in the province of Ravenna (a 63-year-old man from Ravenna but died in Rimini) and three in Rimini (respectively an 86-year-old woman and two men, 80 and 88 years old).
In total, there have been 13,810 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic.
The number of patients admitted to intensive care is stable (75, like yesterday); 687 those in the other Covid departments (+13).
On the territory, the patients admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 3 in Piacenza (data unchanged compared to yesterday); 4 in Parma (-1); 4 in Reggio Emilia (unchanged); 6 in Modena (unchanged); 20 in Bologna (+1); 6 in Imola (+1); 9 in Ferrara (unchanged); 14 in Ravenna (-1); 3 in Forlì (unchanged); 1 in Cesena (unchanged); 5 in Rimini (unchanged).
These are the cases of positivity in the area since the beginning of the epidemic, which refer not to the province of residence, but to the one in which the diagnosis was made:
