Latest news for the weekendNew Arctic impulse over half of Italy! This is the confirmation that has just arrived from the latest data available to us in view of a first weekend of December which promises to say the least bustling between cold, rains, thunderstorms and even snow.
But let’s go in order by analyzing the forecasts with all the details for the days of Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th December.
The bad weather it gives Italy no respite due to a rather lively Atlantic sector that continues to churn out storms driven by arctic currents which, with ease, sink their blows into the heart of Europe and the Mediterranean basin.
And the weekend is not destined to have a different fate.
Already from the day of Saturday 4 will start theyet another worsening with the more than real risk of rains and thunderstorms in particular on Tyrrhenian regions of the Center-South and on two Major islands. Everything will be accompanied by strong gusts of wind arriving from the western quadrants with points beyond 60/70 km/h especially on Sardinia and the coasts of Tuscany. By evening some light rain may affect Emilia Romagna and the lower Veneto.
Sunday 5 the bad weather will still insist on Center-South and on Major islands, where strong thunderstorms will be possible, especially on low Lazio, Campania e Calabria, even with a snowy nature on the central Apennines, where the snow will drop below 1000 meters. Furthermore, between the afternoon and the evening, the entrance of further cold air from the Northeast it will cause the formation of a minimum depression on the upper Adriatic; for this reason we do not exclude the risk of snowfall its Veneto e Friuli Venezia Giulia with flakes at low altitude, up to around 5/ 600 meters.
This will be the prelude to a celebration ofImmaculate which could likely be characterized by a cold front descending from Northern Europe capable of carrying the snow to the plains.
