“Here we are. The Omicron variant is fully widespread“. This was said, raising great alarm, by the president of the Campania regional council, Vincenzo De Luca. “I see the film from two years ago – added De Luca – when we found the first positive patient in a municipality of Cilento and it seemed to be an isolated case”. “No anguish – added De Lucia – but great prudence, otherwise everything is closed”. The president of Campania has appealed to the police to enforce the obligation to wear masks outdoors which – he recalled – “has always been in force in Campania”. “We have to don’t waste a minute of time. Not even a minute, if we want to avoid closing Italy. The figure of the 5 positives I gave to say that by now the wave of contagion has fully started, so we really don’t have a minute of time to lose ”, he continued.
