A 16-year-old Italian boy turned up late yesterday evening, Monday 29 November 2021, at the Madonna di Campagna police station in Turin, confessing to being one of the two robbers who stabbed the police brigadier Maurizio Sabbadino (in the photo below) , 53, intervened to foil their blow in the 12 Municipal Pharmacy in Corso Vercelli. It would be the one who physically launched the blows. The military forces immediately subjected him to arrest. Today, Tuesday 30th, the second criminal was also constituted, an 18-year-old Italian boy who presented himself at the Torino Falchera carabinieri station, in the same complex as the Oltre Dora barracks, where the wounded carabiniere worked.

The conditions of the carabiniere remain serious

The conditions of Sabbadino, who is married and has two children, remain serious even if the immediate danger of life had already been ruled out yesterday evening. He underwent a three-hour surgery at the Giovanni Bosco hospital to suture his liver and lung injuries and was transferred to the intensive care unit. The prognosis remains confidential.
